I am called desh or desi by friends, and I believe in some sense I do capture the essence of being desi.

I have a habit of making absurd, but interesting connections between what I see and my earlier experiences and knowledge of things. This mostly results in a funny and irreverent way of looking at things and you’ll find this in my blog pieces as well. My obsession with food, travel, cinema, sports, and interest in human behavior run through everything that I do. I have a distinctly personal take on everything I see and I try to communicate the same through this blog.

I grew up across different parts of India and my last few years have been spent in Mumbai in a corporate job post my management education, and an engineering degree which I really cherished.
